After the iPad 2, now is the turn of the Apple’s next generation iPad, iPad 3 to be at the top of the list of gadget watchers. Although the speculations about the iphone 5 are at a high peak, users have already begun to speculate about the iPad 3. Apple has been bringing out the products in quick succession lately. Now the iPad 3 is the next product on the cards of the company. Rumors suggest that iPad 3 will only be an upgrade to its previous version, while others believe that the next iPad, iPad 3 will have some innovative features. One of those popular rumors that is swirling around at a high rate is the inclusion of retina display, which will revamp the screen resolution of the iPad 3. It is reported that Apple has hired some experts from Hitachi and Hon Hai for the production of the new high resolution display for the iPad 3 and is currently testing the latest tablet, iPad 3, for a higher resolution screen.
DigiTimes reports that the iPad 3 will have a much higher panel resolution increasing to 250 dpi, allowing for crisper text and images, much like the one found on iphone 4. Some analysts also report that the iPad 3 model would incorporate a 9.7 inch IPS panel with FFS (Fringe-field switching) technology, which enables a wider view and a clearer visual quality under sunlight. This new resolution will be the highest among all gadgets existing today. It also reported that the iPad 3 has just been added to the production schedule for the August launch and is set to be produced in small volume in August and the volume will start picking up in September and October. Since Apple is set to start supplying iPad 3 in August, the shipments of iPad series products including the iPad 2 are expected to surpass 15 million units. Also iPad’s supply volume for 2011 will have a good chance to break production to 40 million units.
